Hi

I had also face this problem while installing Android Studio and wasted my time in unistalling and installing the setup.... but the problem was in the setup, I was using, It was not a proper setup(copied from a friend) that's why all the required file was not updating automatically. So I had go to this link:  https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html

to download my setup on my own and...................... it works perfectly.

Try this may be it will work for you also :)
